| Recycling Not only is our environment an important part of our economy, our lifestyle, and our heritage, it is our future. Although Invermere and the Columbia Valley benefit from having amazing scenery and we also share a relatively healthy environment, this creates an undeniable responsibility to maintain and enhance what we already have, before further deterioration occurs. The District of Invermere is pleased to offer this 2010 Environmental Calendar (3.5 MB download) which is full of useful tips and information for protecting the environment. It also inclludes dates when garbage and recycling pickups are made at your home. A printed copy can be picked up at the District of Invermere Municipal Office. |
