Pynelogs Cultural Centre 250-342-4423

Thanks to a federal grant and partnering with the District of Invermere and the Columbia Valley Arts Council, the Pynelogs Cultural Centre is undergoing a 0,000 restoration upgrade. The restoration is necessary to preserve a working, all-season community heritage building and to enable the Columbia Valley Arts Council to offer and deliver art, musical, dramatic workshops, dance, conferences and community events in a facility throughout the entire year. The restoration of Pynelogs is also an essential first step in the District of Invermere's objective to build an adjacent performing arts centre.

On display are extensive archival materials, a large historic photograph collection, mining cabins and heritage buildings, and even a dugout canoe crafted by an early member of the First Nations Shuswap Band.
