Chief Administrator's Office
The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of the District of Invermere is
appointed by, and reports to Municipal Council. The CAO overseas the overall
administration of the corporate body (business units/operations) of the
municipality, its officers and employees. In addition, the CAO is charged
with keeping Council up to date on corporate matters and ensuring that
Council policy is implemented and by-laws are enforced. The CAO also leads
the senior executive team and sets the overall strategic direction to
ensure achievement of Council's priorities.
Clerk's Office
The Administrative Services Department is responsible for the provision
of corporate services to Council, the staff, and the public through the
Clerk's Office. These include the provision of legislative and legal services
and advice, the management of corporate and archival records and management
of the municipality's computer and telecommunications systems.

Department Directors
The District of Invermere is comprised of three departments each headed
by a Department Director. The CAO and the three department Directors together
form the senior management team. The senior management team provides overall
corporate leadership to the organization. In addition, the District of
Invermere provides fire/rescue service through it volunteer fire/rescue
department.
